Reaching Out to a Larger Audience
The young performers shown in the photo above are filled with elation. They are performing for a huge stadium filled with people. Yet, when the show is over, all that will be remain will be happy memories... unless they are among the new breed of performers who know how to keep the magic alive on Video and DVD, and to expand that stadium filled with a few thousand people to a world wide stadium filled with millions of cheering fans.
That's the mission of a digital production. These performers have recorded their concert in audio form and it is available to the world as a CD recording. But that's not enough...
They have also recorded the full concert on video with still image slideshows and special effects and features, available on VHS Videotape and DVD to the whole wide world. But that's not enough...
They also have their own Web site, designed around them and what they do, and offering the above mentioned CDs and DVDs for sale to a world-wide audience ready to buy and listen and watch. Now THAT'S what I'm talkin' about!
They know that long after the stadium is closed for the night and the sounds of their concert have faded into nothingness, that years after they have grown and moved on to other things, the digital media they were smart enough to produce today will still be selling and keeping alive their dream far into the future to an audience far larger than even they can possibly imagine... down through generations of music-loving fans.
